Specific Job Functions:
- Maintain a working knowledge of menu items and recipes.
- Work rapidly and accurately.
- Utilize proper food handling techniques following Health and Safety Standards.
- Maintain proper stocking of assigned station and know the mise en place.
- Clean, maintain and organize work area.
- Assist Chef in menu preparation and service.
- Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one-year high-volume cooking experience required.
- Must possess good recall and memory.
- Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms.
- Must have knowledge of kitchen equipment and good knife skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor a must.
- Must have or be able to obtain Health Card.
