```Duties```
- Assist the head cook in preparing and cooking meals according to the menu plan
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely food preparation
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Help with food handling, including receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies
- Assist in catering events and special functions as needed
- Support the head cook in menu planning and recipe development
- Perform other duties as assigned by the head cook or kitchen manager

- Experience in the food industry, preferably as a dietary aide or assistant cook
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Proficiency in basic food preparation techniques, including knife skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
