Job Summary
As a Belt Technician with CapCorp,you will perform a variety of duties within the shop, in the field, and atcustomer locations centered around installing, repairing, and replacingConveyor Belts. This role allows you to learn a new trade and start a newcareer where your professional advancement is in your hands. You will report tothe lead Belt Technician perform the following duties listed below but notlimited to:
• Execute duties related toa variety of shop work
• Loading/Unloadingequipment for field service work
• Fabricating specialty conveyorbelt and components
• Learn basic rigging
• Commit to communicating, improving,and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas
• Completes all requiredpaperwork (time sheets, service orders, forms, inventory, expense reports,purchase card, and equipment related items)
• Performs other duties asassigned
Qualifications
Required:
• ValidDriver's License
• HighSchool diploma or equivalent
• Legallyauthorized to work in the United States
• MechanicalAptitude
• Abilityto lift 50-plus pounds often
• Abilityto work in tight spaces or at heights for an extended period
• Abilityto travel at least 50% of the time
• Abilityto work a variety of schedules: overtime, on-call, nightshift, weekends, andholidays
• Mustbe able to pass a background check, and drug test, and have a clean driving record
• Mathskills and ability to utilize a tape measure
