Job Description
Think Coffee is a New York City based coffee company with 11 cafes and a bakery and roastery. We were founded on the principle that coffee tastes better when the people who grow & harvest it are treated well. We form enduring partnerships with coffee producers to provide fair & livable wages for everyone who works on the farm. We also implement projects in the farm working community when there is an urgent need.

The Controller will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the Company using the Restaurant 365 accounting and management system. This will include:
· Recording daily financial transactions and updating the general ledger
· Interfacing with store managers
· Monitoring cash flow and producing financial reports.
· Invoicing and billing.
· Providing analysis, management reporting, planning, and accounting support
· Preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
· Budgeting and forecasting
· Financial month end closing
· Product costing analysis
· AR & AP management
· Inventory tracking, processing and reporting
· Sales tax compliance
· Helping the accountants to prepare tax returns
· In addition, the controller manages certain human resource functions such as benefits management and communication, complaint and/or conflict resolution, handbook updates etc.
