Hi, my name is Dan Sorenson, CEO of Fuego Leads, LLC and we are seeking a Corporate Controller with the ability to act both tactically and strategically. Fuego Leads is a leader in call center technology, lead generation, and telecommunication. Our focus is currently the health insurance and medicare markets where we have grown to a substantial market share in Health Insurance and are quickly growing in the Medicare market.

Our core philosophy is to build and provide the best customer experience to the end user(currently as an individual enrolling in a health or medicare plan) through seamless telecommunication and digital user experience, while providing a best in class SAAS solution for call centers to manage their operations and customer workflows start to finish from telecommunication to product quoting and operational performance reporting.

In a more simple explanation, this means we are able to partner with organizations to generate their sales opportunity and revenue by handling their website, marketing, operational technology, and operational reporting allowing them to easily make intelligent business decisions improving their bottom line and growth.

The Opportunity

• Managing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Credit and Collections, Payroll
• Assisting in the financial planning and analysis process including cash forecasting, variance analysis, and rolling two-year forecasts and runoff analysis of existing lines of business.
• Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial reports and statements
• Researching technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Reconciling and analyzing weekly commission reports.
• Overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes and related account reconciliations
• Ensuring accuracy and control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Coordinating with external accounting firm on local, state, and federal government tax filings for all entities and affiliates
• Documenting and developing internal controls for accounting and business processes
• Assisting in preparation of the budgets, financial forecasts and report variances as needed

What you bring to the table

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA is required.
• You have extensive experience in financial accounting and demonstrated management experience within a small to medium business environment.
• You have a strong accounting background with sound knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, general ledger functions, financial statements and reports, taxation and audits.
• You are an expert with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, experience using Quickbooks is preferred.
• You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information effectively to stakeholders at various levels
• You have the ability to think critically and objectively, evaluating information and making informed decisions by identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• You thrive in a collaborative work environment and are committed to continuous learning and professional development.

Location & Hours

• Hybrid, In office 3x/week, remote 2x/week, with minimum quarterly travel.
• Fuego Office is located in Columbus, OH, 43215
• Your shifts will be from 9AM-6PM Monday- Friday.

Round 2: Video Interview (via Google Meets) with our hiring manager panel.

Round 3: Final Video Interview with our Executive team.
