Job Description
The DEA Compliance Manager performs audits of all Controlled Substance manufacturing units, contract manufacturers, contract packagers and vendors for regulatory agency review. Coordinates with all applicable locations/departments for Controlled Substance-related corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Acts as the primary coordinator of DEA regulatory inspections at corresponding sites. Ensures that company DEA registrations are continually in a state of DEA inspection readiness by driving compliance of all applicable Controlled Substance Regulations. The DEA Manager will conduct and/or coordinate periodic audits of respective departments to ensure DEA compliance with said regulations.
- Previous pharmaceutical experience
- DEA experience in Pharma is required.
- Computer proficiency; MS Office applications.
- Excellent record-keeping and organization skills.
- Ability to take initiative as issues arise.
