Control Room Operator (Lead Position) - 2Nd Shift

Job Title: Control Room Operator                    Department: Seasonings

ACCOUNTABILITY:  Reports to Blending Department Manager

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•  Report to work on time.
• Demonstrate the ability to work with others and follow directions.
• Understanding of safety procedures, OSHA and GMPs.
• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Keep work area clean including all tools needed for the jobs.
• Able to run all mixers, Control Room and dump station.
• Able to drive forklift.
• Serves as back up to Supervisor.
• Able to make good decisions and provide direction to the mixing team resources.
• Sets daily and weekly direction for the team under the expectations of the Supervisor.
• Identifies and solves problems.
• Develops team members to perform at their best.    

SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:  A High School diploma is required along with a minimum of 1-5 years experience in a related field.  Previous Supervisory experience preferred, but willing to train.  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

 WORKING ENVIRONMENT:  Noise and dust levels can be high at times.  PPE required.

 THIS DESCRIPTION IS A GENERAL STATEMENT OF REQUIRED MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES PERFORMED ON A REQUIRED AND CONTINUOUS BASIS.  IT DOES NOT EXCLUDE OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

 Pay Range - $23.00 - $28.00 (Mid $25.50)
