Form of workR&P is looking for a Business and Financial Management Analyst who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We are recruiting a mid-level Analyst to support contracting actions under direction of the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Bath, ME in the management of business financial operations, cost estimation and analysis, planning, programming, and execution of the DDG 51 shipbuilding program.
- Provide financial management to the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Bath, ME
- Assist in tracking the execution of all DDG 51 Class Lines of Accounting
- Assist in preparing responses to inquiries from the DDG 51 program office
- Assist the Administrating Contract Officer (ACO) to include monitoring contract growth resulting from change order execution, tracking total contract obligations, and analyzing change order proposals in support of negotiations,
- Develop, update, and maintain a log of contract values, to include amounts, descriptions, and reasons.
- Assist in preparing responses to inquiries from the DDG 51 program office
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
- High school diploma with over 5 years of professional experience of DoD/Navy financial management
- 5 years of experience in DoD/Navy financial management; desired, not required
- Specialized Experience: Familiarity with shipbuilding contracts & contract structures; desired, not required
- Certification preferred (not required): DAWIA Level II BFM Certification Industry equivalent
- Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
