Essential Job Related Responsibilities
Develops and maintains positive relationships with key stakeholders. Ensures stakeholder satisfaction with the company by maintaining proactive, responsive communication. Maintains regular, proactive communication with key stakeholder groups, and builds new relationships as needed to further the company's mission and vision.
  • Assist and participate as necessary with Company Policy and Procedure Committee related to medication, infection control and healthcare of consumers.
  • Electronic Medical Administration Record - EMAR oversight and point person
  • Administrative pharmacy contact - Interface with pharmacies regarding the effective and efficient distribution of medication.
  • Conduct monthly and as needed Monthly Administration Record reviews for all programs.
  • Review and ensure medication management compliance in all residential programs.
  • Provide nursing support to all residential programs - travel to residential locations required
  • Oversee and make recommendations for changes in service plans for consumers regarding health care needs.
  • Provide nursing consultation to staff regarding consumer health care matters.
  • Obtain or currently has DPW Medication Administration Instructor Training
    • Conducts DPW Medication Administration Training
    • Asses the ability of staff to appropriately perform medication management responsibilities
  • Develop and distribute advisories to staff and consumers regarding special precautions (i.e., infection control, disease, flu, etc.)

Directs Communication with Management and Executives. Establishes and maintains frequent and regular communication with corporate executives. Notifies Senior Vice President immediately of events that could significantly impact unit or company.
Identifies and executes on growth opportunities. Identifies growth opportunities for the development of supports and services that are in alignment with the company's service array and mission. Assists in the development and submission of applications and proposals that will facilitate service expansion and growth.
Conducts investigations that require a certified investigator.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient computer skills - Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook, ability to learn and navigate Electronic Medical Records and various data base applications for employee training
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with consumers, families, treatment team members and other personnel involved in consumer's treatment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Must possess strong assessment skills, knowledge of medical procedures, terminology and equipment
