Contract Registered Nurse

Seeking contract RN to provide RN Delegation and education to unlicensed personnel in a homecare setting.

Requirements:

Must have at least two years prior experience, preferably in a homecare/teaching setting. Must be comfortable teaching skilled tasks to unlicensed personnel. Must follow TXBON TAC 225 re: RN Delegation rules. Must be able to complete and submit documentation within 7 days of service. Must submit invoices for services to the agency. Must have professional liability insurance.

RN Delegation services will include:

Assessment of clients to determine appropriateness for RN Delegation,

Level and frequency of supervision needed,

Verification of the competency of agency's caregivers to perform said tasks,

Supervision as required,

Availability to answer calls from delegated personnel when a question or problem arises,

All services will be provided on an hourly basis.
