Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the HR team and hiring managers to identify the specific skills and qualities needed for each warehouse operations role, based on business objectives
- Create detailed job descriptions that align with the organization's standards and requirements
- Utilize various sourcing strategies to identify potential candidates, including job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, and other channels
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to ensure candidates meet the basic qualifications for the role
- Consult with hiring managers to review resumes and provide recommendations for which candidates to move forward in the process based on their skills, experience, and fit for the role
- Schedule and conduct in-person interviews with potential candidates, in partnership with the hiring manager
- Conduct reference and background checks, as needed, to verify employment history, job performance, and other relevant details
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers and HR teams on recruitment progress and candidate status
- Partner with hiring managers to extend offers to selected candidates and negotiate salaries and benefits packages
- Ensure that candidates have a positive experience throughout the recruitment process and that they are treated in a fair and respectful manner
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience as a recruiter in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment, with experience filling warehouse operations positions
- Demonstrated knowledge of recruiting best practices, including candidate sourcing, assessment, and selection
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the US and EMEA, including equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws, regulations governing visa and work permits, and other relevant regulations
- Familiarity with tracking and reporting recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR technologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills, with the ability to establish professional relationships and build trust with both candidates and hiring managers
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and tasks with minimal supervision
