The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is seeking a qualified candidates for the position of Contract Public Health Information Specialist. This position is needed to fulfill the grant deliverables for the Advancing Mental Wellness Grant which was awarded to Community Partnership of the Ozarks beginning in July of 2023. This grant is 3 years focused on Men's Mental Health communication and outreach. This includes creating and disseminating all content for the "Hey man, you good?" campaign, managing mentalhealth417.com, overseeing marketing efforts, and furthering the message through outreach with key community partners. These partners include but are not limited to Burrell Behavioral Health, Community Foundation of the Ozarks, and other organizations.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Administration, Broadcasting, Health Education, Health Promotion, Public Relations, Social Services, or a related field;
- At least two years of related work experience;
- A Master's Degree in an applicable field may replace one year of experience.
- Experience in health education or promotion;
- Experience in public information activity.
