Contract Mail Carrier (1099 Position) - Kremmling Co

A Contract Delivery Service provider for the United States Postal Service is currently seeking applicants for a CONTRACT MAIL COURIER (1099 POSITION) at the KREMMLING CO Post Office.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
• Must be at least 19 years of age
• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city
• Must be able to pass a federal criminal background check and drug test
• Must have a good driving record
• Must reside in close proximity to KREMMLING CO
• Must be able to work independently after 2 days of training.
• Must obtain an EIN via irs.gov

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active mailboxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle.
• Delivering mail to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel.
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Other duties may be required.
• PERSONAL VEHICLE USE MAY BE REQUIRED upon request (mileage paid)

Must be available to start immediately upon hire

• Schedule: up to 6 days per week EXCEPT New Year's and Thanksgiving
• Time: Split Shift 06:30AM-09:09AM and 03:30PM-05:20PM
• Pay: $128/day
• Invoices are due on the 1st of the month and paid by the 5th of the month.
