Assignment Length: 12 months
Pay $40-75/hour DOE
Responsibilities:
-Lead a team of business and data analysts to oversee the design, development, and implementation of various information system transformation projects
-Provide strategic direction to the agency.
-Assist with defining strategic direction of enterprise level IT implementations
-Define business and technological requirements, consults with product owner, subject matter experts, and scrum teams to define business needs and objectives
-Provide project management of highly complex large scale enterprise IT projects and smaller scale projects
-Lead and coordinate efforts of development team and vendors to ensure solutions are implemented successfully
-Ensure project governance and monitoring controls are in place
-Responsible to ensure project design, development, and implementation are on time and budget
-Mentor state personnel in project management and over time potentially train state resources to take over this function

Qualifications:
-Successful experience managing information technology solutions
-PMP certification or equivalent working experience
-Knowledge of various software development methodologies (agile, waterfall, DevOps, etc.)
-Experience in successfully applying project management and project governance principles
-Leadership experience in managing a project team is required
