As our Contract Data Scientist - LLMs & GenAI:You will be the Data Science glue that brings intelligent products to life for our clients. These projects span the full spectrum of data and AI solutions - including predictive analytics, natural language processing, and computer vision along with the data pipelines and API's that feed them and make their outputs available.
On any given day we hope that you will:- Work on a cross functional team of product management, data engineering and Data Scientists to turn requirements into robust content-driven intelligent features
- Rapidly prototype features using LLM's, capture feedback and iterate to improve performance
- Explore, analyze, and benchmark different LLM's for different purposes
- Implement RAG pipelines
- Work with Dev and CloudOps teams to take code from POC to production
- 3-5+ years of relevant industry experience (consulting directly with clients is a plus)
- Solid programming fundamentals (algorithms, functional programming, data structures, API's) in Python
- Experience with NLP fundamentals
- Familiar with Software Engineering best practices - revision control, automated testing, CI/CD
- Hands-on experience working with LLM's and optimizing them for specific use cases via prompt engineering, RAG, fine tuning, etc.
- Familiarity with pyspark
- Comfort working in both Databricks and AWS native environments
- Good communication skills; comfort presenting technical topics to nontechnical stakeholders and customers
