Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Automation Systems Engineer to support the operation and repair of manufacturing equipment and control systems. The ideal candidate will provide off-shift and on-call support, ensuring GMP production operations run smoothly. Responsibilities include supporting Reliability Engineering, periodic review of Automation Systems, managing user access levels, and overseeing regulatory compliance for engineering data collection systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support operation and repair of manufacturing equipment and control systems.
- Provide off-shift and on-call support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with automation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain hardware and software standards for automation equipment.
- Author and review GMP design documentation for project and process changes.
- Assist in GMP FAT/Commissioning/Qualification activities.
- Maintain manufacturing-level networks and process I/O's
- Provide automation guidance, training, and support to other functional groups.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for automation equipment in a GMP facility.
- Manage system administration functions for SCADA, Data Historians, and other engineering software applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in Automation Systems and manufacturing equipment.
- Strong understanding of GMP production operations and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with system security procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and network administration.
