This Contract Assistant role is a six-month, temporary position, which requires a hybrid office/remote work environment in the company's Cottonwood Heights, Utah office. The Contract Assistant role will work within Supplemental Health Care's contract management system to ensure all contract terms and conditions comply with company's policies, federal/state laws, and The Joint Commission standards. Employees are expected to maintain the Company core values of Integrity, Candor, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.
What does your day-to-day look like?
- Comprehensively review and accurately interpret the terms of a contract to ensure the terms, condition, and specific language comply with company guidelines and policies.
- Maintains contractual files and prepares contract summaries after execution for implementation into Company's contract management system.
- Identify non-compliance as related to contracts and audits.
- Help to create an environment of high morale, motivation, and teamwork.
- In-person presence twice a week to manage company mail at Cottonwood Heights, Utah office. This includes sorting, scanning, and sending documents to appropriate parties.
- Other duties as assigned.
What doe you need to possess to succeed?
- A minimum of three (3) years' contract experience with professional service contracts is required.
- Proficient in knowledge of computers and software systems including Microsoft Office products.
- Must be able to work for prolonged periods of sitting, typing and use of the phone and computer.
- Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, and rules of composition
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
