Prepares, examines, negotiates and revises contracts. Ensures contracts are consistent with the Company’s goals, policies, and procedures. Assesses and projects the financial impact of provider contracts. Ensures the smooth operation and administration of provider agreements. Assists with drafting, reviewing, and auditing provider contracts. May assist with the negotiation of contracts. Assures that all clarifications and amendments of negotiations are incorporated into the final contract. Generates, maintains, and audits a central contract-resource file. Ensures that necessary procedural controls exist. Answers or addresses contract interpretation questions from contract owners and interested parties. Ability to understand, calculate, or advice on the financial repercussions of third party commitments.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- 6 years of experience in contract, risk management, business continuity, or compliance related role.
- Knowledge of contract terms, conditions and legal requirements and regulations
- Understanding of respective business unit requirements regarding contracts and the Company’s risk tolerance
- Ability to negotiate contracts and provide advice to internal business partners.
- Detail Oriented and a problem solver
- Experience in third party negotiations
- Advanced conflict management abilities
- Ability to facilitate both internal and external discussions
Preferred Education and Training
- Bachelor's degree, equivalent experience, or combination
