Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Contract Administration Specialist 1's for a hybrid (onsite/remote) opportunity in Hazelwood, MO.

Pay Range: $33-$42/hr

Hybrid Role with 3 days on site per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Exercises appropriate signature authority, and assists in the negotiation of agreements utilizing approved contract terms and conditions. Supports the research and drafting of proposal and contractual language, delivery processes and document reviews. Participates in the documentation and execution of business plans. Supports due diligence and integration of newly acquired entities to ensure implementation of contracting policies and practices. Supports audit response efforts and implementation of corrective actions/solutions. Participates in the assessment of process risks and control adequacy. Assists with maintenance of business processes and data integrity. Assists with monitoring/reconciliation and compliance in the performance of contractual and business commitments, company policies, laws and regulations. Supports special requests for approval and exception, provides contract performance status and contract closeout activities. Supports team coordination with other internal functional disciplines. Supports contracts administration.

The Transactional Contracts & Pricing team has an open position to support either United States Government (USG) or Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) programs. The USG position would support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) customer across aircraft like F/A-18, F-15, CH-47, P-8, KC-135, B-52 or B-2 which have complex proposal and execution challenges. The DCS position would support international or commercial customers across similar platforms.

o Request for Proposal/Proposal Plan of Action (RFP/PPOA) review, proposal pricing and development, order review, and interfacing with internal/external customers (e.g. Engineering, Procurement Financial Analysis, Financial Planning, Scheduling and other internal functional partners) to address emerging issues.
o As a member of the Acquire organization and Program/Business Management teams, conduct and lead proposal development and negotiation and provide contracting expertise to develop and negotiate creative business solutions for new spare business.
o Represent the company to diverse customers, including U.S. Government, commercial, international and public/private institutions.
o Authorize to exercise commitment/signature authority in accordance with formal delegation to negotiate and contract for the sale or development of high-performance defense and aerospace products and services (e.g., aircraft, missiles, spacecraft and launch vehicles).
o Submit offers and serve as official Client representative to the customer.
o Develop and/or maintain effective working relationships with customer counterparts and the next level within the customer organization.
o Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
o Interpret contract requirements, manage change and resolve conflict.
o Exercise appropriate signature authority in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies.
o Support presentation of business solutions to preserve and expand the business.
o Prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret and administer legally binding contractual agreements for The Client Company.
o Summarize contractual issues, support development of creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
o 1+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
o 1+ years of experience in Contracts, Estimating, Supplier Management, and/or Finance.
o 1+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree or higher. 

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
8 am - 5 pm

MISCELLANEOUS:
The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by client.

Candidate must be local to Hazelwood, MO or willing to relocate at their own expense.
