Position Description
Advertised Job Summary
The Continuous Quality Improvement Manager is a key leadership position within the Student Health and Well-Being Unit. This role is responsible for driving and overseeing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and effectiveness of health and wellbeing services provided to university students. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, analyze data, and implement strategies to optimize processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 4 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications
-Master's degree in a related field: Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Quality Improvement, etc.
-Proven experience in Continuous Quality Improvement within a healthcare or university setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data for decision-making.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in student health and well-being.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to develop, implement and monitor key performance measures for identified improvement projects. High level of computer literacy. Demonstrated ability to work with teams and individuals in providing clear directions and guidance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion. High level of problem solving ability and analytical skills. Skills to conduct ongoing training, coaching and collaborate with a diverse staff. Ability to interact with customers in a supportive and user-friendly manner. Ability to perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent change.

Strategic Planning and Implementation:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Continuous Quality Improvement plan aligned with the goals and objectives of the Student Health and Well-Being Unit.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate Quality Improvement initiatives into the unit's strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 15 Job Duty
Data Analysis and Performance Metrics:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to student health and well-being services, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of health services, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making.

Process Improvement:
- Manage Peer Review process for all clinical departments
- Develop and lead clinical/laboratory audit and compliance processes
- Lead process improvement projects to enhance the delivery of health and wellbeing services, collaborating with staff across various departments.
- Implement evidence-based practices and benchmarks to streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and improve the overall student experience.

Training and Education:
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on Continuous Quality Improvement methodologies and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the Student Health and Wellbeing Unit, promoting staff engagement in Quality Improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including academic departments, student organizations, and community partners, to integrate a holistic approach to student health and wellbeing.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among different departments to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to student care.
