The Role
The Continuous Improvement Intern will support Continuous Improvement projects by assisting with the development of Key Performance Indicators and designing and interpreting key reports using various databases. In addition, this role will collaborate with internal stakeholders to conduct needs and process improvement assessments using the problem-solving method for internal departments. This role will assist with promoting and educating Lean tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizens, PDCA, DMIAC, Waste Walks, Root Cause) to internal departments and create measurement (Controls) tools to track performance and sustain improvements.
What You'll Do:

• Apply principles of Lean Manufacturing to reduce waste
• Support Continuous Improvement projects throughout the company
• Assist in developing and analyzing manufacturing data
• Support improving the effectiveness of current manufacturing processes and layout
• Support improving the efficiency and quality of manufactured parts

Skills to be Successful:

• Excellent analytical, written, verbal communication, and hands-on skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Able to follow directions and learn on the fly
• Able to work with others across multiple departments

Nice to have:

• Experience in data visualization software like Tableau and PowerBi

Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements. We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience. Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change.
Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
