Content Management Specialist - Documentum

Our Client is seeking a proficient full stack developer with experience in Documentum to play a pivotal role within Client's forthcoming project, BTRA (BUS Transportation) Forms Digitization. The principal objective of this initiative is to effectuate the digitization of approximately 35 forms and their associated workflows for BTRA, as well as pertinent departments, and subsequently integrating them into the designated system(s) of records.

The assigned Developer will bear the responsibility of devising and configuring automated IT solutions, leveraging tools in-house such as Documentum, Captiva, and other relevant IT platforms. This strategic deployment of technology will facilitate the conversion of the identified 35 forms and their respective processes into digital formats, commencing from their original source media and seamlessly integrating them into the pertinent IT systems of records.

This role will encompass reporting to either the Application Manager or the Deputy Chief of Documentum and will necessitate close collaboration with various departments within IT and across the Client's organization, ensuring a cohesive and effective implementation of this project.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Documentum Developer will engage in a close collaboration with both the Business Analyst assigned to this project and the IT Manager, thus effectively executing the array of duties and responsibilities encompassing, but not confined to:

• Analyzing the current IT systems to discern their applicability in meeting the requirements of this project.
• Establishing the development environment for Documentum and any other pertinent IT platforms on their localized workstations.
• Extracting business requisites from the Business Analyst and formulating, as well as configuring, IT solutions aligned with the seamless realization of project objectives.
• Crafting Enterprise Content Information and Management solutions that facilitate the precise translation of documented technical and functional requirements outlined in this project.
• Crafting automated document capture solutions wherever applicable and designing automated workflows that encompass the content of the forms identified in this project.
• Collaborating closely with the in-house Documentum team to comprehend the expanse of Enterprise Content Management capabilities and leveraging existing solutions to ensure the punctual and fiscally prudent delivery of the project.
• Maintaining a close partnership with the IT Manager to ensure that the solutions under development conform to, and ideally surpass, both IT and IT Cyber Security standards germane to this project.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

Experience

Must have 8 of more years of relevant experience including:

• Undertake the configuration and advancement of applications and modules spanning a comprehensive spectrum of technologies, which encompass, yet extend beyond, Java J2EE, Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, html5, css3, TypeScript, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Bootstrap, Material Design, and node.js. Proficiency with .MS .net (c#/VB) programming and adeptness in SQL for reporting are prerequisites. Demonstrated proficiency in facilitating seamless import/export operations from network drives, hard drives, and email sources to Documentum client applications is expected.
• Provide proficient developmental and technical support for the suite of Enterprise Content & Information Management client applications, covering both Documentum and SharePoint. This remit encompasses all out-of-the-box (OOTB) Documentum applications, such as Documentum D2, Documentum Webtop, Documentum D2 mobile, and Documentum xCP, as well as equivalent SharePoint applications and solutions.
• Provide developmental and technical support for the gamut of Enterprise Content & Information Management products, including OpenText Brava, Content Transformation Services, Process Engine, Workflow Manager, Documentum Xplore, Documentum Content Server, Process Developer, Index Agent, and Documentum connector to SharePoint.
• Undertake the administration, troubleshooting, optimization, and maintenance of diverse application and web servers, including Apache Tomcat server, Apache Server, and Weblogic Server, to name a few.
• Offer adept developmental and technical assistance spanning a range of scenarios, encompassing Emergency Requests and unplanned business requisites, Technical Upgrades, IT Cyber Security stipulations, Applications and Server scanning and remediations, and assorted Reporting requisites.
• Provide specialized technical support for an array of Enterprise Content and Information Management products, including but not limited to Captiva Capture, Intelligent Capture, Advanced Recognition, Captiva Administration, Image Converter, Image Processing, Code Modules, Standard Import/Export Modules, Scanplus, Custom scripting modules, and Advanced Recognition Designer

Pay: $50.48 - $95.00 per hour
