Job Description:

• The mid-level Content Designer is an essential role in transforming our brand from seasonal tax prep to a year-round financial services provider.
• You might call yourself a content strategist, UX writer, information architect, product writer or something else.
• You translate complex topics in accessible ways and report to a senior. content design leader.
• The Customer Design team is the UX nucleus for our client experiences delivering our expertise and care every day.

• Contribute the end-to-end content creative across our product for tax prep and financial services, product support, help centers, chatbots,
• Own small to medium size projects and product experiences with some direction from senior leaders
• Deliver content design that achieves our business strategy and solves customer problems; ensuring it is clear, respectful, inclusive and engaging.
• Support the direction of the senior content design leader while pushing for new thinking
• Advocate for the customer through human-centered design methods, ensuring our products speak their language and meet their needs
• Comfortable with UX Research to generate ideas and validate creative solutions through human-centered testing
• Participate in design reviews and critiques, and help all designers strengthen their skills in content design
• Effectively explain and advocate for your design decisions with an audience of product partners and other stakeholders
• Partner with Product Management to ideate on ongoing value of personalized content to the customer; partner with IT leaders to operationalize delivery and modernize our systems

• 4+ years of experience working as part of a Content Strategy or UX writing team UX writing experience
• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary product design or UX team
• Experience crafting content using design tools such as Figma and content management systems like Adobe Experience Manager
• Comfortable creating content for cross-channel experiences
• Experience working with different teams or departments such as marketing, sales, tech/engineering, product management, analytics, customer support and legal/compliance
• Bachelors degree in related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and work experience
• An inspiring portfolio of projects that showcases a compelling writing approach, strong editorial skills, and impact
• Enthusiasm for iterative design process, inspired by group critique
• Curious, open-minded and ego-free. You have a growth mindset.
• A passion for simplifying complex problems and understand users needs
