Job Description
Pay Range: $19.95-$26.25 per hour.
Schedule: Varies for a total of 32 hours per week.
Site: Remote.
 
Summary: The Content Creator will capture and edit skilled and creative social media brand-specific posts for ES Gaming on all company-utilized social media formats. The Content Creator will work closely with programs to capture the vision and tell the organization's story through social media. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual designs for a variety of media, social media, and marketing campaigns for the organization. Ability to trouble shoot technology including but not limited to: personal computers, video recording devices, audio recording devices, and microphones.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory bodies.
  • Ensures content developed is compliant with all local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Ensures no copyright infringement or plagiarism within their work.
  • Adheres to ESArc' s Human Resource policies and performs other duties assigned.
  • Engages in implementing and sustaining a social media presence.
  • Drive influence through social media including but not limited to: being able to engage in social media up to and including: Tik-Tok, Twitch, Discord, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Ability to moderate social media content on message board and public forums.
  • Assist with trouble shooting issues with equipment.
  • Shooting, cataloging, editing, footage for esgamingnei brand.
  • Collaborate with university Content Creators.
  • Work closely with Development and Marketing teams to provide original material for marketing and fundraisings the tournaments and brand.
  • Composing original scores of music for media and marketing.
  • Live sound trouble shooting during weekly Twitch streams.
  • Ensures dignity and respect is paramount to the work developed.
  • Has the ability to effectively use person centered language?
  • Maintain confidentiality and supports Easterseals Arc privacy practices at all times.
  • Can effectively communicate orally and in written form with supervisor, clients, parents, caregivers, and any other individual part of the ID team.
  • Can effectively communicate orally and in written form with community partnership contacts on behalf of Easterseals Arc.
  • Ensures the individual(s) being supported are aware of their rights and help facilitate self-advocacy through different mediums like but not limited to hands-on experiences and modeling.
  • In every situation, respects the rights, dignity and honor of the individual being served and any individual they come into contact with.
  • Is tolerant with people and processes; listens and checks before acting; has the ability to show empathy in any situation.
  • Ensure that people are free from abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
  • Looks at ways to reduce barriers that will allow for more gaming and virtual reality opportunities for individual(s) served.

  • Helps participant(s) engage and understand online safety use.
  • Positively represent Easterseals Arc.
  • Uphold agency values and follow agency policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of records/information according to HIPAA, State, Federal Laws, and guidelines.
  • Understand and follow through with agency systems and protocols.
  • Mentor and train new staff to ensure that the workplace is a positive and productive environment.
  • Display conduct in the community that enhances the image of individual(s) supported and the agency.
  • Communicate positively and clearly with your supervisor and coworkers.
  • Meet established timelines and deadlines.
  • Maintain satisfactory attendance to work shifts, staff meetings and other assigned agency functions.
  • Complete needed trainings by established deadlines.
  • Maximize and responsibly utilize agency and community resources.
  • Complete duties assigned by supervisor or designee.

Requirements
Qualifications:
 
  • Expert knowledge in software including: OBS, Streamlabs, Streamladder, Twitch, YouTube and TikTok.
  • Experience with media and gaming music composition required.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Associates or higher in a related field preferred.
  • Esports experience involving multiplayer online video games with team-based elements and expert knowledge of Esports video games.
  • History of revenue generating through streaming games.
  • Ability to envision and assist in a team environment, the growth for Esports, social media, and related fields.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to resolve issues independently.
  • Experience working with individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities; prefer 1 year.
  • Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks.
  • Excellent language, written and computer skills necessary for communication and documentation.
  • Ability and willingness to support individuals with challenging behavior and/or medical concerns.

Working Conditions: Content Composer works in a changing environment that adjusts to the needs of the sub brand. The environment may be fast paced with interruptions, distractions, and deadlines. Content Composer will need to be flexible and be able to adjust to changing needs, activities, and locations. Some remote work will be necessary. Schedule will vary based on project.
 
Physical Requirements: Work can be physically demanding including supporting people with mobility needs, lifting, or moving items up to 20 lbs, walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods or providing support through CPR/First Aid, behavioral support, and other interventions.
