The Consumer Relations Specialist completes tasks under the direction of their direct supervisor and the State Program Director. The Consumer Relations Specialist monitors each program recipient’s ability to manage his or her program. Through daily interaction with consumers and personal assistants, the Consumer Relations Specialist builds relationships to support a positive consumer and personal assistant experience, as well as foster additional business and consumer referral opportunities.

- Conductsmonitoring,supervision,and/orinterventionsoftheConsumerasdirected
- Completestheconsumeradmission/intakesasdirectedbythemanagementteam
- Documentsrelevantinformationintheconsumerrecord
- Maintainstheconsumerrecord
- Assists theFieldSupportTeamwithcontactingCDPAPPersonalAssistantsregarding annualworker requirements
- Assiststheofficeoperationsteamwithtimereportingissuesand concerns
- Performsall proceduresinanaccurateandtimelymannerasdirectedbythemanagement team
- Notifies theCDPAPBusinessDevelopmentManageror Office Operations Leaderofany concernsrelatingtoeach consumer.(Allegations,ofFraud,Misuseofservices,andother relevantissues)
- Adherestothestandards,regulations,andproceduresofthecompany,Medicaid,theNew York State Department of Healthandthe Federal government
- Providespolicyreeducationtoconsumersandpersonal assistants,asnecessary
- Represents thecompanywithapositiveimageatalltimes
- Demonstrates flexibilityandadaptabilityinmeetingtheneedsofparticipants
- Attendsallrequiredtrainingsandin-serviceprograms
- Providesthehighestlevelofcustomerservicetoprogramparticipants,vendors,and individual entities
- Consistentlymodelsthecompany’sphilosophyofcustomerservice andcompliance
- Meets establishedcompanykeyperformanceindicators andimprovegrossprofit

Minimum Requirements:
- Mustbeatleast18yearsofage
- Computerproficiencyrequired
- Abilitytoacceptdirectionandsupervision
- Reliabletransportation required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in the English language or other languages may be required
