WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're hiring a Consumer Planner for the Global Sports Apparel team, with focus on the Athlete first as we plan for the Global Promo business. The candidate will apply domain expertise and partner with functional partners in Product, Sports Marketing, Merchandising, and Planning to focus on the Consumer first as we plan for multiple dimensions across the business. We'd like to see individuals who are curious, have a tolerance for ambiguity, and possess the ability to work both collaboratively & independently. We are looking for a Consumer Planner to develop demand forecasts used by Product Management, Domestic Factory Partners, Finance, Sourcing and Supply Planning teams to drive critical business processes. 


WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will use industry standard planning tools, including, Line Plan Architecture and Demand plans. You will help triangulate historical Metric driven insights with Product and Sports Marketing teams to help make decisions on assortments & volume plans that are grounded in athlete service needs and domestic manufacturing landscapes! You will help assess future risk and opportunity in the domestic space and connect with management and other teams across Nike to enable informed decisions. You will collaborate with geography planning, sports marketing, development and other key partners to understand Sports Marketing strategies and geography landscapes to shape your future demand!

You will provide information, analysis and recommendations to drive planning decisions during all phases of seasonal product creation. You will drive data and analysis inputs to multi-functional partners to influence efficient line planning. You will work closely with partners to gain insights in order to finetune forecast information. Your forecast information will be used by many partners downstream to make better and more informed decisions.

You will create style and style-color forecasts using seasonal line plans, historical information and insights gained from partners. You will be responsible for driving key dates and gates and holding partners accountable in order to meet deadlines. You will be responsible to creating reports to best illustrate forecast information to downstream and upstream partners. 


WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role you will collaborate closely with Global multi-functional partners in Product Management, Sports Marketing, Apparel Development, Supply and Inventory, Production Planning, Sourcing and Costing, Materials Planning, Product Information Analysts and Operations.


WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
-  Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Economics or Forecasting or a combination of education, experience, and training

-  Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience

-  Experience with statistical forecasting tools is preferred

-  Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

-  Ability to effectively communicate data-dense and/or critical topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience to influence action

-  Strong influencing skills, including experience collaborating with remote teams to align on a unified agenda multi-functionally

-  Strong written and verbal communication skills

-  Sound judgment to elevate strategic concerns to senior management in a timely and appropriate manner

-  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

-  Detail oriented and self-motivated, with strong organizational skills (multi-tasking)

-  High level of proficiency with MS Office, including Microsoft Word and Advanced Excel skills

-  Experience with SAP/APO, Cognos or other advanced planning systems is preferred

-  Experience in apparel, footwear, or equipment organization is preferred
