Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for the creation/production/coordination of marketing communications and advertising materials for various health plans.
Description
Logistics:
This position is full-time (40 hours/week, 8 hours/day) Monday – Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM and will be onsite at 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC.
What You Will Do:
- Assist with project coordination of marketing efforts associated with Affordable Care Act and Medicare supplements. marketing initiates.
- Monitors/reviews accuracy of marketing materials database. Updates database, materials.
- Coordinates communications in support of sales representatives and agents engaged in selling Affordable Care Act plans and Medicare supplement products.
To Qualify For This Position, You Will Need:
- Required Education: Bachelor's in a job related field
- Required Work Experience:
- 2 years sales/marketing experience in advertising campaign development/management. Examples of advertising campaign development/management are TV, direct mail, newspaper inserts, etc.
- Required Software and Tools: Microsoft Office.
- Required Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of health insurance and regulatory issues.
- Good judgment skills.
- Effective customer service skills.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others.
- Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Work Experience:
- 4 years communications experience
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Detail oriented
- Critical thinking skills
- Analytical skills
Preferred Software and Other Tools:
- MailChimp
- Content Management System (CMS) experience
