Consumer Loan Processor

Primary Job Responsibilities

• First point of contact for Branch and Private Banking personnel for loan application processing
• Pull Credit Bureau reports on all consumers
• Collect required documentation for underwriting (Proof of Income, Proof of Insurance, Collateral Information) by working with the loan officer
• Provide information to underwriter for decision
• Produce initial application disclosures
  • Mail disclosures to customer
  • Send electronic version to loan officer
• If loan is approved, order collateral evaluation documents if needed
• Follow-up with loan officer regarding closing date
• Produce closing documents
  • Send electronic closing documents to loan officer for closing
• Signed documents are to be compiled and documented through the appropriate Loan Check List
• Upload all loan documents to imaging system
• Send complete Loan Packet to Commercial Loan Administrator for secondary review
• If loan is declined, process the appropriate Adverse Action to the customer(s)
• Back-up administrator for Laser Pro

Other Responsibilities

• Assist Loan Administration with data mining information for Portfolio reviews - Direct and Indirect loans
• Maintain Document and Collateral Exception tracking with follow through with loan officers to clear noted exceptions
• Back-up other Relationship Specialist within the Wholesale Division including some Commercial Loan documentation

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of consumer credit regulations and requirements
• Consumer loan processing and loan documentation experience preferred
