Target hourly hiring pay range: $15.86 - $19.82 per hour

Job Description:

Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to assist Atlanta Postal Credit Union to live out our Mission, “To help our members achieve financial success by providing exceptional products and service.” Responsible for processing approved Consumer Loan applications and issuing funds to the delivery Channel determined by our member.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Deliver outstanding service to both internal and external members that is in alignment with our Service Promises
2. Assist with loan calls to provide loan rates and loan promotion information to our members.
3. Review all loan approvals in loan origination system to complete all funding stipulations.
4. Obtain all information and/or documentation for loan funding, including preparing loan closing documentation and obtaining member signatures on appropriate documents.
5. Quickly and accurately fund all assigned loans
6. Comply with all aspects of BSA/AML and OFAC regulations as they relate to this position.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Previous lending experience a plus.
2. High School diploma or GED required, college preferred.
3. Excellent attendance/punctuality.
4. Outstanding phone etiquette.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Must have a positive, can do, attitude.
7. Above average computer skills.
8. Knowledge of credit union products and services.
9. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
10. Able to multi task.
11. Detailed oriented.

Physical Job Requirements:

Must be physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines such as calculator, typewriter, computer, printer, facsimile, telephone, copier, etc. Must be able to stand, bend and stoop as needed. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of 20 to 25 pounds.
