Position Overview:
The Consumer Communication Manager will play a pivotal role in executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies for our consumers. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position will be responsible for all Consumer Communication, ranging from chats, email, phone, social media, website, and campaigns. Strong marketing, communications, analytics, and strategic thinking are required to elevate the SweetLeaf brand and successfully grow brand awareness, household penetration and sales. The Consumer Communication Manager works in collaboration with the Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Customer Success, Operations and Finance Teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage communications directly with the SweetLeaf consumer. This will include engagement with consumer questions and inquiries through email, chat, phones, website, and social media.
- Provide management with monthly reports on overall number of engagements, including both positive and negative, and summary of SweetLeaf brand elevation.
- Manage all aspects of social media content and campaigns. This includes collaborating with designers or copywriters to provide attractive and informative campaigns, hiring influencers, tracking campaign performance, keeping up with social media technologies and using social media marketing tools.
- Establish the voice of the consumer internally and externally ensuring all consumers are satisfied with SweetLeaf products and services, letting consumers know about additional products and services, escalating queries and concerns, and determining the most effective communication for the consumer.
- Meet and report on established KPIs for social media campaign performance.
- Establishing relationships/networks of industry professionals or influencers on social media.
- Troubleshooting common consumer issues and ownership of problem solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Experience in consumer-packaged goods, preferably in natural products industry, is required
- Ability to work and collaborate cross functionally and influence change to achieve desired results
- Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking skills and results oriented
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Experience working with brand image and promoting value through consumer experience

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
