Consumer Collection Manager

Summary

Responsible for managing all the Consumer Loan collection functions for First Financial Bank.

This position manages Collectors, approves loan extensions and charge- off requests, reviews collection practices to ensure that accounts are being contacted in compliance with governmental and company regulations.

  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum 5 years prior experience with supervision in lending or collections.
  • Knowledge of commercial lending and leasing procedures
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Familiarity with lending procedures, laws, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of general ledger and accounting procedures
Primary Activities

  • Implementation, negotiation, and monitoring of asset programs.
  • Oversee liquidation of personal assets
  • Manage Floor Plan auditing and reporting
  • Oversee litigations of consumer debt, bankruptcies, and filings
  • Manage reconciliation of general ledger consumer related accounts
  • Prepare reports and perform analysis for research to proactively identify potential loan delinquencies and revenue losses.
  • Review and update current policies.
  • Implement training and development programs.
  • Completes all other duties as assigned.
