CONSULTING PHARMACIST Per-Diem

Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center has an opening for a Consulting Pharmacist. The Consulting Pharmacist is responsible for all onsite regulatory pharmacy services established by the CMS Conditions of Participation and the Oregon State Board of Pharmacy. The pharmacist is responsible for the development, supervision, and coordination of all activities of the Pharmacy Department. May advise physicians and other health practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications.

Skills, Knowledge, & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school is required.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school is preferred.
• Must be licensed in the Star of Oregon (Oregon State Board of Pharmacy).
• Demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, management training, and effective communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication, and computer proficiency specifically in Microsoft Office and online software.

Shift: 0 - 6 hours per week
