PulseTech Products Corporation is at the forefront of researching, developing and delivering next-generation battery testing, maintenance, and charging systems. These battery systems are used by the military, first responders, commercial fleets and heavy equipment users as well as consumers. Our products can make batteries maintain CCA and last up to three times longer, thereby contributing to green initiatives.
We are needing an Electrical Engineer on an as-needed basis to improve the designs of our existing products. This position will also be responsible for designing and testing new products, testing and documenting comparisons of our products vs those of our competitors, as well as other projects as they arise. We are located in Southlake, Texas, and would prefer someone located in the DFW area. This opportunity could be perfect for a retired or semi-retired Electrical Engineer who wants to stay engaged and help make the world a cleaner place.
Additional tasks that could be included:
- Creation and refinement of assembly drawings.
- Document the key aspects necessary to accomplish the manufacturing goals of a project
- Assist in the creation of Bill of Materials
- Component Engineering Management
- Development of working prototypes
- Act as liaison with multiple domestic and foreign contract manufacturers
- Investigate, quantify and present cost reduction suggestions
- Analyze competitor products
