What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing and developing robust ABAP programs and functionalities within SAP environments, leveraging SAP Cloud Platform for innovative solutions.
• Diagnosing and resolving intricate problems within SAP systems, using advanced debugging and performance analysis techniques.
• Utilizing SAP's tools (e.g., SAP Fiori, SAP Solution Manager) to ensure efficient operation of applications.
• Creating and maintaining reusable ABAP components and libraries for future use across various SAP modules.
• Converting functional specifications into technical design and high-quality code, ensuring compatibility with multiple devices and compliance with SAP standards.
• Conducting thorough analysis to identify root causes of problems, evaluating potential solutions, and executing plans to address issues effectively.
• Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of SAP's ecosystem and how it supports business automation and solutions.
• Thriving in a collaborative environment, you'll contribute to a culture of customer service excellence and team cohesion.
• Taking initiative in multiple projects, managing priorities effectively, and guiding others towards achieving project and organizational goals.
• Communicating complex ideas and strategies to a diverse audience, including mentoring team members on technical and business topics.
• Familiarity with SAP's RESTful programming model and experience with modern development tools and methodologies.
• Translating business requirements into technical solutions within the SAP landscape, focusing on innovation and optimization.
• Managing full lifecycle implementations, from design through to support, within a microservices architecture.
• Willingness to engage in both front-end and back-end development tasks, providing comprehensive SAP solutions.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

• Proven leadership in directing and mentoring a team of ABAP developers, promoting best practices and efficient design within SAP environments.
• Strong experience in architectural decisions, developing scalable and maintainable systems with ABAP, and leveraging SAP Cloud Platform.
• Expertise in building advanced API solutions and integrations within SAP, with a solid understanding of ABAP development standards.
• Ideally, 4+ years of experience as an ABAP developer in an agile project environment.
• A 4-year degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
• A passion for leading teams towards achieving shared objectives, with minimal oversight.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for analytical thinking.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, with SAFe experience being an added advantage.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, where the candidate will be required to work 2-3 days in the office each week.

The salary range for this position considers multiple factors influencing compensation decisions, such as skillset, previous experience, certifications, and various business & organizational requirements. Being hired at or near the top of the range for this role is uncommon, as compensation determinations rely on individual circumstances. Currently, the base salary range is estimated to be between [$80,000 and $130,000].
