About Us:  Shambaugh & Son L.P., a wholly owned subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., is a construction/engineering firm.  We specialize in the Design-Build method of construction resulting in fast-track delivery of the project improvements to our clients as well as traditional plan and spec projects. Job Summary: 

Shambaugh & Son, L.P. is seeking a CDL Driver based out of our Fort Wayne, IN shop.  In this position, you will be responsible for hauling construction materials and equipment through out the Midwest.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Job Title: CDL Driver

  Job Summary: Haul construction materials and equipment to sites.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate company owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
  • Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
  • Safety first mindset
  • Operate Class B Stake body flatbed truck.
  • Operate Class A Semi and Flatbed
  • Occasional overnight deliveries

  Qualifications  

  • Operate and maintain company equipment in a safe manner.
  • Class A & B CDL required.
  • One or more year(s) experience as a truck driver
  • Must be able to learn to operate all MHE used by the company.
  • Deliver equipment and tools using a Pickup-Trailer combination or Class B Stake Body flatbed.
  • Operate Forklift, Lull to load trailers, move larger equipment and tools.
  • Inventory equipment located in storage barns.
  • Deliver Fleet vehicles to jobsite.
  • May require an overnight stay and a flight returning.
  • Assist warehouse operations.
