Georgia Artisan is Custom wood shop that manages commercial rennovations and custom build outs as well. The Majority of the wood work is done in our shop but we're needing someone to fill the onsite work position. The benefit is even if the job has delays, we can still work in our shop rain or shine. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the rennovation of homes here in Macon. Looking for someone well rounded in all areas of home construction, carpentry, drywall, painting etc.

-Will need to be able to manage themselves to stay on task and potentially manage 1 -2 other workers.

-Any areas lacking skills can be taught on the job

-Need to have a Drivers Liscense with NO DUI in the last 5 years.
- Load and unload construction materials and tools
- Operate hand and power tools
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols on construction sites
- Assist with the installation of fixtures, such as windows, doors, and cabinets
- Perform basic carpentry tasks, such as framing and trim work as well as painting
- Collaborate with the construction team to complete projects on time

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in construction or related field is required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
