Tetra Tech is a seeking full time to full time mid-level Construction Technician for daily observation and reporting of infrastructure construction projects and basic construction contracts administration. Projects include water/wastewater facilities, underground and building construction. Opportunity exists for SE Michigan including Ann Arbor. We are interested in candidates in the local area. Experience with concrete and underground is a plus.
Your role:
- Maintenance of daily reporting of measurements, calculations and computation of quantities as well as written daily reports
- Ensuring conformance with contract documents
- Performance of daily observation and documentation of construction activities, including those of subcontractor activities
- Maintaining as-constructed drawings
- Position may require public engagement
- Willingness and ability to learn contract administration, including contractor payments, change orders, liaison to Owner meetings, and other various tasks
- Experience required with excellent driving record
