Construction Surveillance Technician-Grade 4 (TS Cleared)

The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Grade 4 Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) with an active Top Secret Clearance for a facilities engineering program to support a federal Agency.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Perform all duties associated with Grade 3.
• Use this grade only when work complexity matches grade requirements.
• Edit / review logs, complex reports, and plans.
• Attend senior level meetings representing this discipline of security.
• Review intelligence / security reports and brief subordinates.
• Adapt surveillance techniques based on intelligence or best practices.
• May supervise CST Grade 3 personnel as warranted by the task or PMP. Supervision includes all normal duties, such as schedules, work assignments, disciplinary action, recognition, etc.

Qualifications and Education Required:

• Active Top Secret Clearance

• Five (5) – ten (10) years of experience working in a security function directly related to the discipline required; a bachelor’s degree in any field of study is preferred, advanced degrees desired, or 9 to 14 years’ experience in lieu of a degree. Technical training or expertise may be required.
• Must have direct experience as a CST domestically or overseas, with experience on at least two distinct construction projects.
