Construction Superintendent - Renovation

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Construction Superintendent with a strong background in interior and exterior renovation projects to oversee and manage the successful execution of various construction and remodeling initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

• Develop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety regulations.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage on-site construction teams, providing guidance, support, and ensuring work is carried out efficiently.
• Foster a collaborative and positive working environment, promoting effective communication among team members.

Quality Assurance:

• Oversee and enforce quality control measures to ensure that renovations meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
• Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.

 Safety Compliance:

• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for on-site personnel.

Client Interaction:

• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns or inquiries.
• Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on renovation projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication skills, written, electronic and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software encouraged.
• A background in multi-family renovation is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant construction supervision experience.
