2022 - 2023 School Year
Summer School - Thursday, June 22nd through Thursday, July 13th. (no school Monday, July 3rd or Tuesday, July 4th) 15 days = 1 planning day + 14 instructional days. 7 hours per day. 7:45am -3:15pm with a .50 lunch.
This position will remain open until a qualified applicant is selected. The earliest date a recommendation for hire may be submitted is after 04/27/2022.
This is a Summer School Position
Evergreen Public Schools (EPS) offers the following to eligible employees who work at least 630 hours in a school year:

Certificated positions may have additional pay provisions above what is represented on the salary schedule such as, but not limited to TRI pay, In-Service days, and Extended Contracts, all in accordance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) as negotiated.

Essential Functions:
Instruct high school students in skills, knowledge and competencies in construction basics. Implement the Construction Basics Summer School curriculum and evaluate student progress to reflect currents industry methods and practices.
  • Maintain appropriate student records and report student progress to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment with effective classroom management and discipline procedures while maintaining good instructor/student communication and rapport.
  • Organize, manage, and appropriately maintain the instructional facility, equipment, resources, and provide a safe working/learning environment.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a CTE certified teacher in Construction Trades.
