Construction Safety Officer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Officer to join our team.JSP Solution LLC As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and implementing effective safety programs. Your role will involve identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and developing strategies to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Construction Safety and possess excellent knowledge of OSHA 30 regulations.

Duties:

- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations

- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs

- Provide training to employees on safe work practices and procedures

- Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and develop preventive measures

- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans

- Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal regulations such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety)

- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities

- Conduct safety audits to assess compliance with company policies and procedures

- Coordinate workers' compensation claims and assist in the management of return-to-work programs

- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in safety regulations

Experience:

- Construction Management, or related field preferred but no nesesery

- Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in the construction industry

- In-depth knowledge of Construction Safety regulations, OSHA standards, and compliance management

- Familiarity with construction management software is a plus

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks and develop effective solutions

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging safety training sessions

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
