Summary:
This position will be responsible for assisting in attracting and hiring quality candidates by utilizing internet tools, job boards, and social media to fill existing vacant positions and generate a consistent candidate pool. Electricians encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing for newly hired employees
- Utilize job boards and social media sites to identify potential candidates (such as, Indeed, Craigslist, LinkedIn)
- Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Conducting preliminary phone interviews.
- Maintaining a shared customized tracking database of all candidates.
- Attend job fairs and industry events.
- Assist with onboarding paperwork.
- Perform other duties as direct by the Corporate Recruiter.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience; preferably with skilled trades.
- 2+ years of experience as a electrician or underground construction.
- Detail oriented individual.
- Comfortable utilizing electronic operating systems, communication methods, and presentation tools. (Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking System, etc.).
- Able to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Must have knowledge of office administrative procedures, and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment
- Ability to create spreadsheets, graphs, charts, proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, internet and email, proficient in SPECTRUM
- Provide exceptional customer service to managers, multi-task and work in a fast-paced
Physical Requirements: (OFFICE)
- Must be able to sit and stand for an extended period of time
- Possess good vision (normal or corrected)
- Ability to continuously bend, stoop, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, and reach over head
