Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Office Manager to join our team. This role requires a skilled professional with a strong background in Accounting, Taxes, and/or Finance to oversee the daily tasks required to ensure day-to-day administrative and executive operations are carried out successfully.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Serve as a key point of contact for administrative duties, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders as needed.
- Implement and maintain effective accounting systems and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with our business objectives and project goals.
- Conduct regular audits and financial reviews to identify areas for improvement, mitigate risks, and ensure financial integrity.
- Mentor and train direct reports on accounting principles, procedures, and software applications to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Organizing and maintaining necessary licensing and insurance requirements.
- Phone answering and walk-in greeting.
- Data collection and management.
- Expense report and credit card management including auditing and reconciliation.
- Benefit enrollment and new employee onboarding.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with a focus on the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in financial matters.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
