Full Time
The Commercial Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of jobs assigned including but not limited to: Concrete Foundations, Cast-in-place Beams, Masonry, Framing, Flatwork.
Responsibilities:
Organize pre-construction meetings with vendors and suppliers as required per job.
Assessing daily the progress and performance of all jobs involved. Ensuring compliance with all building, safety, and governmental regulations.
Negotiate and Write Up Change Orders to keep the job on schedule and minimize budget deterioration.
Ensuring job site cleanliness to American Building and Contracting standards on a daily basis.
Ensuring Job Site is safe according to industries standards and builder guidelines.
Strong knowledge and the ability to read and interpret blueprints is a must.
Schedule and provided necessary documentation at turnover with owner.
Complete warranty items for one (1) year turnover.
Build horizontal and vertical construction as per “ABC” scope of work.
Perform light construction tasks with basic tools if needed.
SKILLS
Strong knowledge and the ability to read and interpret blueprints is a must.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Computer programs Microsoft Excel/Word/Email and “ABC” in-house programs Builder Trend.
Understanding the importance of meeting schedules and deadlines, while obtaining the highest level of Quality.
Conducting yourself in a positive respectful manner to ensure the company’s well – established reputation.
Good interpersonal and communication skills with everyone.
Requirements
CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
5 years Min. experience in construction management.
