SalaryWe are a portable asphalt and concrete crushing company serving the lower peninsula of Michigan and northern half of Indiana.
While experience is not necessary for this position, an applicant should be comfortable around heavy equipment and understand the safety training and situational awareness that being around such equipment demands. A priority of safety for yourself and coworkers, being on time, having reliable transportation, and having flexibility to go to different job sites is mandatory. This is a high paced, outdoor, multi-seasonal (weather) job. We move our equipment from site to site in different cities as our services are needed. 12 hour shifts will be the normal 5 to 6 days per week, we make every attempt to avoid Sunday work, but it can be necessary at times. If a hotel is needed, the employer pays for the hotel; our rule of thumb is, if you have at least an hour drive and worked 12 hours we pay for a hotel room. An applicant can expect to be on their feet, performing general housekeeping, shoveling piles of material, keeping walk ways and work areas tidy, lubricating equipment when necessary, assisting with maintenance are expected of you. Punctuality, safety minded, common sense, and tenacity are attributes an applicant should possess.

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
