Position Overview: Work Hours: Tuesday & Thursday, 4-8 hours each day. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Inspection & Coordination professional to ensure the seamless execution of our construction design projects. This individual will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections to ensure meeting design requirements, capturing detailed photographs of construction progress, and coordinating with project teams and clients to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site inspections of construction projects to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and project specifications.
- Capture detailed photographs of construction progress, documenting key milestones and any deviations from plans.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, contractors, and clients to address any issues or concerns during construction.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate the timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for project meetings and presentations.
- Utilize office skills such as email communication, document management, and scheduling to support project coordination efforts.
- Work as either a subcontractor or an employee, based on preference and agreement.
Additional Requirements: Must be able to utilize technology for on-site work, including the ability to zoom for remote meetings and use a tablet pad for field documentation.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in Construction Inspection or a related role is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, techniques, and materials.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite or Google Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
