Construction Expeditor (Anchorage Location)

Join the team of a reputable Alaskan-owned Construction/Restoration Company that has been proudly serving Alaskans for more than 50 years. We are currently seeking an Anchorage based Construction Expeditor.

About Us: We specialize in restoring homes and commercial properties after disasters such as fire, wind, earthquake, and water/mold damage. Additionally, our services include home improvement, residential and commercial remodels, additions and more. We offer our clients 24/7 emergency services, requiring a rotational schedule for after-hours availability.

Responsibilities:

· Procurement and delivery of construction materials for various projects.

· Jobsite clean-up, debris removal and dump runs.

· On-call rotation for after-hour emergencies.

· Assist carpenters with carpentry duties as needed, based on skills.

Requirements:

· Must be 18+

· Reside in Anchorage due to on-call rotation requirement.

· General knowledge of construction materials is beneficial.

· Ability to follow instructions and work with Lead Carpenters, Production Managers, Project Managers, and other high-level managers.

· Commitment to safety, using provided safety equipment.

· Ability to work independently and interact professionally with the public.

· Capable of lifting and carrying heavy loads (75+ pounds)

· Safe operation of company vehicles in all weather conditions. Does NOT require CDL (1-ton flatbed, box van, and ½ ton pickup)

· Reliable, insured transportation for work, including after-hours due to on-call rotation.

· Current driver license with good driving record.

· Successful completion of post-offer drug screening (heroin, amphetamines, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine) and background screening (no felonies and any misdemeanor convictions must be discussed with Human Resource Director to ensure contract compliance)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
