JJC is an established 30 plus year firm and a growing construction company. This is a full-time position.
J. J. Cardosi, Inc. performs a wide variety of commercial and industrial projects including projects for municipalities, housing authorities, colleges and universities, medical facilities, and performing renovations for many other types of buildings ranging from 10k to ten million dollars. This is a great opportunity to get on board with a growing firm and a dynamic team.
Description of Position and Responsibilities:
Estimator will be working on estimating bid preparation, takeoffs, procuring subcontractor and materials pricing, and other related estimating tasks. Daily responsibilities will vary based on company requirements for the different projects. Need to meet strict bid deadlines.
Projects often include all CSI Divisions.
Emphasis on site, concrete, carpentry and openings.
Strong general computer skills required.
Experience with Sage and Procore is a plus.
Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
Experience with Microsoft Office
Bachelor's degree in project management, architecture, engineering or similar field preferred.
Knowledge of production rates and costs for carpentry, concrete and site work is beneficial.

Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
