This resource will be responsible for working with General Trade Contractors, with utilities, building bid packages, monitor the safety of employees, etc.
The resource should be able to work with Microsoft Office suite as well.
Resource should be comfortable with 30% of average travel - domestic and international.
30% of average overtime involved in this job.

Description -
Construction project lead / coordination of Body Weld Equipment Installations, relocations, and demolitions at North American Our Client plants.
Work closely with equipment project lead to coordinate construction activities and maintain project schedule.
Create project estimates, scope, bid packages, schedules. (Microsoft excel, word, and MS Project skills are a must)
Oversee contractor safety on the jobsite, and proactively plan all safety elements of the construction work.
Coordinating, organizing, planning, and prioritizing work with multiple contractors to maintain schedule / budget.
Rating Construction Contractor performance on Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost and Environmental.
Monitor construction budget, timely process Requisitions and Field Change Orders.
Requirements:
Required Skills -
Problem solving, time management, technical communication. Strong skill needed to work around unplanned problems. Maintain a safe work environment during all activities.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts as typical work is conducted on non- production times.
Experience in construction environment, with previous history in project management / supervision of large-scale schedule driven activity.
General Mechanical knowledge of large machinery in an industrial environment.
Working knowledge of basic electrical for the ability to check breakers, understand voltage, etc.
Schedule of Client and understanding of overall schedule for large job completions.
Experience in the construction trades
Strong background in construction project management.
Safety management experience.
Microsoft excel, word, and MS Project skills are a must
Desired Qualifications-
BS in engineering preferred but not mandatory with the right experience.
Previous automotive safety or construction experience.
Previous skilled trades experience a plus. (Ironworker / Millwright / Electrician / Pipe Fitter)
Experience with machine uncrate, installation, setting, leveling.
The position is home-based in TMMK (Georgetown, KY) supporting Region 1 (TMMK, MTMUS) with mandatory dispatch to other North American facilities to support future projects if required. (the candidate should be willing to go for longer duration to new/ other facility).
