Reports to: Director of Compliance and Licensing
Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday (some days may require more than 8 hours).
Position Summary
The Contracts and Licensing Specialist efficiently facilitates the contract, licensing, permitting and regulatory compliance for the Company across multiple states, all while representing Camp in a professional manner to all external and internal customers and governmental agents.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Possess strong oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of permitting and licensing requirements and procedures. Knowledge of construction contract procedures. Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Self-starter willing to work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent skills with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro and internet researching. Has a helpful, supportive, and collaborative personality. Notary public or eligible to be licensed. Must have 2+ years in the construction industry with experience working with and managing contracts and licensing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain contractor licensing applications, originals, and renewals.
- Prepare and maintain business and tax licenses.
- Prepare and submit NOC’s (and similar filings) in all states.
- Assist with the administration of the contract lifecycle management program.
- Assist with research and preparation of materials in response to legal filings and claims.
- Research regulatory compliance requirements in existing and new state operating areas.
- Maintain bonds for licensing and permitting, notary and contract applications.
- Supports the Risk Management department in other tasks as assigned.
- Support Executive Admin with AIA contract preparation, Certificates, and similar documents.
